DNB: Safety

Safety and Health in our business must be part of every operation.

The personal safety and health of each employee of D N B is of primary importance.  Our objective is a safety and health program that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum.  Our goal is zero recordable accidents and injuries.

In 2011, D N B received a Golden Gate Partnership Recognition letter from the Sate of California Department of Industrial Relations, Cal/OSHA Consultation Service.  This letter complimented and recognized the successful implementation and maintenance of an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

In an effort to maintain a successful safety culture as recognized above, D N B partners closely with its Insurance Broker, Gallagher Construction Services, to improve safety, quality control and quality assurance.

Safety is examined, at minimum, on a daily basis for all D N B operations.  Daily site evaluations, task driven job hazard analysis, and weekly onsite safety meetings contribute to the efforts of the D N B team to ensure safe execution of its work at every level.

Training, re-training and quarterly team meetings also serve to open lines of communication between all team members, both management and employees, to discuss and implement necessary and valuable tools in order to safely and effectively execute each task.

D N B is committed to grow and evolve its safety program in order to keep safety at the forefront of every operation.
